From Kyoto Station, take the Kintetsu Kyoto Line to Toji Station. The train ride takes approximately 5 minutes. Once you arrive at Toji Station, exit the station and turn left. From Kyoto Station, take Bus number 206 or 208 towards Kujo Kintetsu. The bus ride will take around 15 minutes. Get off at the Kujo Station (九条駅) bus stop. From there, it’s a 5-minute walk to Tōji Temple. Head east on Kujo Street, then turn left onto the road leading to the temple, where you'll see the five-story pagoda.

If you are near Kyoto Station, you can also walk to Tōji Temple. Exit Kyoto Station and head south towards the main road. Walk along the main road (Karasuma-dori) for about 20 minutes.
