Car
If you're driving, start from central Mikawa. Head south on Route 247, and continue for about 15 kilometers. Follow the signs for Gamagori, and take the exit toward Takeshimacho. After exiting, turn right and continue straight for about 5 minutes. You will see signs for Mikawawankokutei Park. The parking lot is available at the entrance of the park, and there is no parking fee.

Public Transportation
To reach Mikawawankokutei Park via public transportation, start at Mikawa Station. Take the JR Tokaido Line train towards Toyohashi and get off at Gamagori Station (approximately 20 minutes). From Gamagori Station, take the Gamagori City Bus (Gamagori Loop Line) towards Takeshimacho. The bus ride will take about 30 minutes, and you should get off at the Mikawawankokutei Park bus stop. The bus fare is approximately 500 yen.

Bicycle
If you're feeling adventurous, you can rent a bicycle in Mikawa and ride to Mikawawankokutei Park. The ride will take about 1 hour. Start by heading south on Route 247, then turn onto the scenic routes toward Takeshimacho. There are designated bike paths along the way, and it’s a great way to enjoy the beautiful surroundings.
