Car
If you're traveling by car from Mikawa to Nara Park, start by heading south on Route 1 (Nishio Bypass) towards Nara. Continue on Route 1 for approximately 30 kilometers. When you reach Nara, follow the signs for Nara Park. You will find parking areas near the park, but note that parking may incur a fee, typically around 500 to 1000 yen depending on the duration of your stay.
Train
For visitors using public transportation, head to Mikawa Station. Take the Kintetsu Nara Line train towards Nara Station. The journey takes about 50 minutes, and a one-way ticket costs approximately 730 yen. Upon arrival at Nara Station, exit the station and walk towards the park, which is about a 20-minute stroll. Follow the signs directing you to Nara Park, where you'll enjoy the beautiful scenery and the famous free-roaming deer.
Bus
Alternatively, you can take a bus from Mikawa. Look for the local bus terminal and check for routes heading to Nara. The bus ride will take around 1 hour and may cost around 1000 yen. Once you arrive at the Nara bus terminal, it's about a 15-minute walk to Nara Park. Just follow the pedestrian signs leading to the park entrance.
