Car
From central Mount Fuji, head towards Route 138. Follow the signs for Hakone, which will lead you south. Continue on Route 138 for approximately 25 kilometers until you reach the junction for Route 1. Merge onto Route 1 heading towards Hakone. After about 10 kilometers, take the exit for Hakone. Keep following the signs for Sanno Shrine. The shrine is located at 1297 Ninotaira, Hakone. There is parking available nearby, but it can get busy during peak tourist seasons.
Public Transportation
From the Mount Fuji area, take a train from Fujisan Station to Gotemba Station using the Fujikyu Railway. At Gotemba Station, transfer to the Odakyu Line and take a train towards Odawara. Get off at Hakone-Yumoto Station. From there, you can catch a local bus (Hakone Tozan Bus) towards Sanno Shrine. The bus ride will take approximately 15 minutes, and the shrine is a short walk from the bus stop.
