Getting There

  • Car

    If you're driving, head towards the center of Fuji City. From the Fuji Interchange on the Tomei Expressway, take Route 139 towards Fuji. Continue on Route 139 until you reach the intersection with Route 1. Turn left onto Route 1 and drive for about 5 minutes. Turn right onto 2 Chome and look for the address '2 Chome-3-35 Yokowari'. There should be signs pointing towards Yokowari Hachimangu. Parking is available nearby.

    To reach Yokowari Hachimangu using public transportation, start by taking a train to Fuji Station on the Tōkaidō Main Line. From Fuji Station, exit and head towards the bus terminal. Board the Fujikyu Bus bound for 'Yokowari' (横割行き). The bus ride will take approximately 20 minutes. Get off at the 'Yokowari' bus stop, which is closest to the shrine. From there, it's a short 5-minute walk to '2 Chome-3-35 Yokowari'. Just follow the signs to Yokowari Hachimangu.
