Getting There

Car
If you're driving, start from the center of Musashi and head southeast on Route 246 (Tamagawaguchi Road). Continue for about 20 minutes until you reach the Setagaya area. Look for signs directing you to Kitakarasuyama. Once you approach 4 Chome, turn left onto Kitakarasuyama Street, and the Kōgen-in temple will be on your right at 4 Chome-30-1. There is parking available nearby.

Train
To reach Kōgen-in by train, take the Odakyu Line from Musashi to Shinjuku Station. From Shinjuku, transfer to the Keio Inokashira Line and travel to the Kamiyama-cho Station. Once you arrive at Kamiyama-cho Station, exit the station and head southwest on Kamiyama Street towards Kitakarasuyama. After about a 15-minute walk, you will arrive at Kōgen-in, located at 4 Chome-30-1 Kitakarasuyama.

If you prefer to take the bus, find the nearest bus stop in Musashi that services the Setagaya area. Look for a bus heading toward Kitakarasuyama. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Kitakarasuyama stop, walk for about 5 minutes northeast along Kitakarasuyama Street, and you will find Kōgen-in at 4 Chome-30-1.
