Car
If you're driving in Kai, head southeast on Route 20 towards Setagaya City. Continue on Route 20 for about 20 km until you reach the intersection with Route 246. Take the ramp onto Route 246 and follow it for approximately 5 km. Look for signs to Setagaya and merge onto the local roads. Follow the signs to Kitakarasuyama and take a right onto 4 Chome. Kōgen-in will be on your left at 4 Chome-30-1 Kitakarasuyama.
Public Transportation
To reach Kōgen-in using public transport, start by taking the train from Kai Station to Shinjuku Station. From Shinjuku, transfer to the Odakyu Line and take a train towards Yumoto. Get off at Setagaya Station. From Setagaya Station, you can take a local bus (the Seta 01 or Seta 02) towards Kitakarasuyama. Get off at the Kitakarasuyama stop, and Kōgen-in will be a short walk from there. The address is 4 Chome-30-1 Kitakarasuyama, which is easily identifiable by local signage.
