Car
If you are driving, start from the center of Nagasaki and head south on Route 34. Follow Route 34 until you reach the intersection with Route 202. Turn right onto Route 202 and continue towards Takashimamachi. Follow the signs for the Third Observation Plaza. There is parking available near the plaza, but be aware that parking may have a fee, typically around 500 yen per hour.
Public Transportation - Bus
From Nagasaki Station, take the Nagasaki City Bus #3 or #4 towards Takashimamachi. The bus ride lasts approximately 30 minutes. Alight at the 'Takashimamachi' stop. From there, it is a 10-minute walk to the Third Observation Plaza. Follow the signs directing you to the observation area. The bus fare is around 240 yen each way.
Public Transportation - Tram
Take the tram from Nagasaki Station on the tram line towards 'Shin-takaramachi'. Get off at 'Takashimamachi' station. From the tram stop, you can either take a local taxi for about 1,500 yen to the Third Observation Plaza or walk for about 20-25 minutes. The tram fare is approximately 200 yen.
