Getting There

  • Subway

    Start your journey at Nagoya Station, which is the main transport hub of the city. From there, take the Higashiyama Line (light blue line) towards Fujigaoka. After seven stops, get off at Sakae Station. At Sakae Station, transfer to the Meijo Line (orange line) and head towards Nagoya Dome-mae Yada. Get off at Jingu Nishi Station after three stops. Once you exit the station, head west towards the intersection and turn left onto Route 19. Continue walking straight for about 15 minutes until you reach Shirotori Garden, located at 2-5 Atsuta Nishimachi, Atsuta Ward.

    From Nagoya Station, head to the bus terminal located on the north side of the station. Look for the Meitetsu Bus stop and take Bus 17 or 19, which goes towards Atsuta. Get off at Atsuta Jingu (Atsuta Shrine) stop. From there, it's a short 10-minute walk to Shirotori Garden. Exit the bus and head southwest on Route 19 until you reach the garden entrance at 2-5 Atsuta Nishimachi, Atsuta Ward.

Continue straight for about 1 kilometer (approximately 15-20 minutes on foot) until you see the entrance of Shirotori Garden on your left at 2-5 Atsuta Nishimachi, Atsuta Ward. The garden is well-signposted, so keep an eye out for directional signs.
