Getting There

Walking
From the Osu Kannon Temple, head south on Osu Street (Osu-dori) for about 5 minutes. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with the main street. Turn left onto the main street and walk for about 2 minutes. You will see Banshoji on your right at 3 Chome-29-12 Osu, Naka Ward, Nagoya. The temple is located just a short distance from the shopping areas and is easily identifiable by its traditional architecture.

Public Transportation
If you prefer to take public transportation, from Osu Kannon, walk to the Osu Kannon subway station (about 7 minutes on foot). Take the Tsurumai Line towards Kami-Otai and get off at the next station, which is 'Fushimi'. Transfer to the Higashiyama Line at Fushimi Station and head towards Takabata. Get off at 'Sakae' station and exit through the 2nd exit. From there, it's a 10-minute walk to Banshoji, heading in the direction of Osu Kannon along Osu Street. Note that subway fares will cost approximately 260 JPY for a one-way trip.
