If you are in Sakae, make your way to the nearest subway station, Sakae Station (栄駅). From the station, take the Exit 1 or 2, which leads you towards the Oasis 21 shopping complex. Once you are outside, head towards Shirakawa Park (白川公園), which is located directly next to the Nagoya City Art Museum. The museum is situated inside the park at the address 2 Chome−17−25, Sakae, Naka Ward. The walk should take about 10 minutes from the station.

From Sakae Station (栄駅), you can also take the Nagoya City Subway and get off at Higashiyama Station (東山駅), which is two stops away on the Higashiyama Line.
