Getting There

  • Walking

    From Sakae station (栄駅), exit via the 16th exit which leads directly to the Oasis 21 complex. Once outside, head towards the large glass spaceship-like structure of Oasis 21. From there, walk straight towards the main road (Aichi Prefectural Art Museum will be on your left). Cross the road at the traffic light to reach Shirakawa Park (白川公園). The Nagoya City Science Museum is located within Shirakawa Park, specifically at 2 Chome-17-1 Sakae, Naka Ward, just a short 10-minute walk from Sakae station.

  • Public Transport - Subway

    If you prefer to take the subway, from Sakae station (栄駅), board the Nagoya City Subway's Higashiyama Line (東山線) towards Takabata (高畑). Travel for one stop and get off at Fushimi station (伏見駅). Transfer to the Tsurumai Line (鶴舞線) at Fushimi station and head towards Kamimaezu (上前津). Get off at the next stop, and exit the station. From there, it’s about a 5-minute walk to Shirakawa Park where the museum is located. This journey will take approximately 15 minutes and will cost around 260 yen.
