Getting There

    If you are driving, start from Nara city center. Head north on Route 369 towards Koka. Continue on Route 369 for approximately 30 kilometers until you reach Koka city. Once in Koka, look for signs for Kokacho Aburahi. Turn onto Kokacho Aburahi Road, which will lead you directly to Aburahi Shrine at 1042 Kokacho Aburahi, Koka, Shiga 520-3413. There is parking available near the shrine.

    To reach Aburahi Shrine via public transportation, start at Kintetsu Nara Station. Take the Kintetsu train to Yasu Station. From Yasu Station, transfer to the Ohmi Railway and take the train to Koka Station. Once you arrive at Koka Station, exit the station and look for the bus terminal.
