If you are driving, start by heading towards the Uji area from your current location in Nara. Use the Kizu River route, following the signs for Uji. Once you reach Uji, look for the main road leading to the Uji Bridge (Uji-bashi). As you approach the bridge, you will see the Asagiri Bridge on your left. There is parking available nearby.
Public Transportation
To reach Asagiri Bridge by public transport, take the train from Nara Station to Uji Station. The train journey typically takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Uji Station, exit the station and head towards the Uji River. You can either walk along the riverbank or take a local bus that heads towards Asagiri Bridge. Walking will take approximately 15 minutes and will provide you with scenic views of the area. Follow the path along the river, and you will see the Asagiri Bridge ahead.
