    If you are traveling by car, start from Nara Park. Head northwest on Nara Park Road toward the Kintetsu Nara Station. Continue onto Route 163, following signs for Kyoto. Merge onto the Meishin Expressway. Take the exit for Kyoto and follow the signs toward central Kyoto. Once in the city, navigate towards Shimogyo Ward. As you approach Funayacho, look out for the address 679 Funayacho, which will be on your right. Parking may be limited, so consider using a nearby public parking facility.

  • Train

    To reach Cooking Sun via train, start at Kintetsu Nara Station. Take the Kintetsu Nara Line to Kyoto Station. Upon arriving at Kyoto Station, transfer to the Karasuma Subway Line. Board the train heading towards Kokusaikaikan and get off at Shijo Station. From Shijo Station, take exit 1 and walk south along Karasuma Street until you reach the intersection with Shijo. Turn left and continue until you reach Funayacho. Cooking Sun will be located at 679 Funayacho on your right.

  • Bus

    If you prefer to use the bus, start at Nara Station and take the Nara City Bus (route 2) towards Kintetsu Nara Station. Get off at the Kintetsu Nara Station stop. From there, take the Kyoto City Bus #205 towards Kyoto Station. After arriving at Kyoto Station, transfer to the bus #100 or #206 that will take you to Shijo Karasuma. Once you get off at Shijo Karasuma, walk south along Karasuma Street, turn left at the intersection with Shijo, and continue until you see 679 Funayacho. Cooking Sun will be on your right.
