Car
If you're driving, start from Nara city center and head northeast on Route 24 towards Kyoto. Continue on Route 24 for about 40 kilometers. Once you reach Kyoto, follow the signs for Shimogyo Ward. Take a right onto Shichijo Street, and then a left onto Hanayacho Street. The Costume Museum will be on your right, located on the 5th floor of the Izuza Sanjo Building. There is limited parking available nearby, so be prepared to park in a public lot if necessary.

Public Transportation
To reach the Costume Museum via public transportation, start at Nara Station and take the Kintetsu Nara Line towards Kyoto. After about 45 minutes, get off at Kyoto Station. From Kyoto Station, transfer to the Karasuma Subway Line and head towards Kokusaikaikan. Get off at Shijo Station. From Shijo Station, take Exit 1 and walk straight for about 10 minutes. Turn right onto Hanayacho Street, and you will find the Costume Museum in the Izuza Sanjo Building on the 5th floor.
