Getting There

  • Car

    If you're driving from Nara countryside, head northwest on Route 24 towards Osaka. After about 40 minutes, merge onto the Hanshin Expressway (Route 16). Follow the signs for Dotonbori, and take exit 1B. Upon exiting, follow the signs to Dotonbori. You should find parking in the nearby Namba area; note that parking fees may apply, typically around 300-600 yen per hour.

    From Nara, take the Kintetsu Nara Line to Kintetsu Namba Station. The journey takes about 45 minutes. Once at Kintetsu Namba Station, exit the station and walk towards the Dotonbori area, which is approximately a 10-minute walk.
