Car
If you are driving, start by heading southeast on Route 163 from any location in Nara. Follow the signs towards Osaka. After about 30 minutes, take the exit towards Hirakata on the Kinki Expressway (Route 1). Continue on Route 1 for another 10 minutes, then take the exit towards Hirakatakoencho. Follow the road signs directing you to Hirakata Park, which will be on your right. There is ample parking available at the park.
Public Transportation
To reach Hirakata Park via public transport, take the Kintetsu Nara Line from Nara Station to Yamato-Saidaiji Station. Transfer to the Kintetsu Nara Line Express towards Osaka and get off at Hirakata Station. From Hirakata Station, take the bus number 15 or 17 towards Hirakata Park. The bus ride will take about 10 minutes. Get off at the Hirakata Park bus stop, and you'll see the entrance directly ahead.
