    Car

    If you're driving from central Nara, head east on Route 369 towards Kyoto. Continue on Route 369 for approximately 35 kilometers. As you approach Kyoto, follow signs for Route 1 towards Kyoto City Center. Once in Kyoto, take the exit toward Higashiyama and continue straight. You will need to turn left onto Tokiwacho Street, where Kitaza is located at 149-1 Tokiwacho. Parking may be limited, so look for nearby parking facilities.

    From Nara Station, take the Kintetsu Nara Line to Kyoto Station. This train ride takes about 45 minutes. Once you arrive at Kyoto Station, transfer to the subway and take the Karasuma Line towards Kokusaikaikan. Get off at the Shijo Station (4 stops). From Shijo Station, take the exit towards Karasuma. Walk east on Shijo Street until you reach the intersection with Tokiwacho Street. Turn left and walk for about 5 minutes to arrive at Kitaza, located at 149-1 Tokiwacho.
