Car
If you are driving, start from Nara Park. Head east on Nara Park Road, then turn left onto Takabatakecho. Continue straight for about 5 minutes, and you will see the Ukimido Pavilion on your right. There is parking available nearby.
Public Transportation
To reach Ukimido Pavilion using public transport, take the Nara Kotsu bus from Nara Station (Bus Stop 1) towards Kasuga Taisha. Get off at the 'Ukimido' stop, which is directly in front of the pavilion. The journey takes about 15 minutes. Alternatively, you can also walk from Nara Park; it takes approximately 20 minutes on foot.
Walking
If you are already near Nara Park, you can walk to Ukimido Pavilion. From the entrance of Nara Park, head northeast towards the pond. Follow the path along the water for about 15-20 minutes, and you will reach the pavilion. It is a beautiful walk with scenic views.
