    If you are in Nara Park, start by heading south towards Sanjo-dori Street. Walk towards the Naramachi area, which is a historical district. Continue walking south until you reach the Kintetsu Nara Station. From the station, take the Kintetsu Limited Express train towards Kyoto. The journey will take about 45 minutes. Once you arrive at Kyoto Station, exit the station and head to the underground mall. Look for the signs leading to the Karasuma Subway Line.

    Take the Karasuma Subway Line from Kyoto Station towards Kokusaikaikan. Get off at Shijo Station (3 stops). After exiting the station, take the exit towards Karasuma Street. Walk along Karasuma Street until you reach Hanayacho Street. Turn right onto Hanayacho Street. The Costume Museum will be located in the Izutsu Samue Building on the 5th floor. It is just a short walk from the intersection.

    From Nara Park, walk to the Nara Bus Terminal located near Kintetsu Nara Station. Take the Kyoto City Bus #205 or #206 towards Kyoto Station. The bus ride will take approximately 50 minutes. Get off at the Kyoto Station bus terminal. From there, follow the subway instructions mentioned above to reach the Costume Museum.
