    Getting There

    Train

    From Nara Station, take the Kintetsu Nara Line train towards Osaka Namba Station. Get off at Shitennoji-mae Yuhigaoka Station, which is about a 40-minute ride. Once you exit the station, walk south towards Chausuyamacho street. Continue straight for about 10 minutes, and you will find Horikoshi Jinja on your left at 1-8 Chausuyamacho.

    Bus

    From Nara Park, walk to the Nara Kotsu Bus Terminal. Take the bus number 70 towards Osaka Station. After approximately 45 minutes, disembark at the 'Tennoji Koshin' bus stop. From there, walk east along Chausuyamacho street for about 5 minutes, and you will reach Horikoshi Jinja, located at 1-8 Chausuyamacho.

    Walking

    If you are in central Nara, you can enjoy a scenic walk to Horikoshi Jinja. Head towards the Naramachi area and then follow the road southeast toward the Kintetsu Nara Line. Once you reach the line, continue walking straight. After about a 50-minute walk, you will arrive at Horikoshi Jinja at 1-8 Chausuyamacho.
