Bus
Starting from Nara Park, walk to the nearest bus stop, which is 'Nara Koen Mae'. Take the Kintetsu bus number 30 towards 'Kyoto Station'. After approximately 40 minutes, get off at 'Jōnangū-mae' bus stop. From there, it's a 5-minute walk to Jōnangū Shrine. Head northeast on Nakajimatobarikyucho, and the shrine will be on your left.
Train and Walk
From Nara Station, take the Kintetsu Nara Line towards Kyoto. Transfer at Tofukuji Station after about 35 minutes. Exit the station and walk towards the East for about 15 minutes along Fushimi Ward until you reach Jōnangū Shrine located on Nakajimatobarikyucho.
Taxi
If you prefer a more direct option, you can take a taxi from your location in Nara. Simply tell the driver 'Jōnangū Shrine' or show them the address: 〒612-8459 Kyoto, Fushimi Ward, Nakajimatobarikyucho, 7. The drive should take about 30 minutes depending on traffic.
