If you are in Nara, take the Kintetsu Nara Line from Kintetsu Nara Station to Kyoto Station. From Kyoto Station, transfer to the JR Nara Line to get to Tofukuji Station. Once you arrive at Tofukuji Station, exit the station and head northeast towards the bus stop. Take the Kyoto City Bus #203 or #17 towards Kitayama, and get off at 'Shimogamo Jinja-mae' bus stop. From there, it’s a short 5-minute walk to Kawai Shrine.

After exiting Tofukuji Station, walk northeast to the bus stop and board the Kyoto City Bus #203 or #17, getting off at 'Shimogamo Jinja-mae' bus stop. It's a 5-minute walk from the bus stop to Kawai Shrine.
