Bus
From Nara Station, take the Kintetsu Nara Line to Kyoto Station. Once at Kyoto Station, transfer to the Kyoto City Bus. Take Bus No. 28 towards 'Hozu River' and disembark at the 'Kozan-ji' bus stop. The temple is a short walk from the bus stop.
Train and Bus
Start at Nara Station and take the Kintetsu Nara Line to Kintetsu Kyoto Station. From there, walk to the nearby Kyoto Station and transfer to the JR Sagano Line. Get off at Saga-Arashiyama Station. From here, take Bus No. 91 or No. 92 towards 'Kozan-ji' and get off at the 'Kozan-ji' bus stop.
Taxi
If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from Nara to Kozan-ji. Just inform the driver of the destination: 'Kozan-ji, 8 Umegahata Toganoocho, Ukyo Ward, Kyoto.' The journey will take approximately 45 minutes, depending on traffic.
