From Nara Park, walk to the Kintetsu Nara Station (about 20 minutes). Take the Kintetsu Nara Line to Kyoto Station (about 45 minutes). Once at Kyoto Station, transfer to the Karasuma Subway Line and travel to the Marutamachi Station (about 10 minutes). From Marutamachi Station, take bus number 100 or 206 and get off at the Nanzenji Eikando-michi bus stop. The entrance to Nanzen-ji Temple is a short walk from the bus stop.
