    Getting There

    Walking

    From Nara Park, head northwest towards the Nara Visitor Center. From there, walk towards Kintetsu Nara Station. Once at the station, take the Kintetsu Nara Line to Kyoto Station. Upon arriving at Kyoto Station, transfer to the subway and take the Karasuma Line. Get off at Karasuma Oike Station and transfer to the Tozai Line. Travel towards Kyoto City Hall and get off at the Kyoto Shiyakusho-mae Station. Exit the station and walk south along Monzencho Street for about 10 minutes. You will find Shinsen-en on your left at 166 Monzencho.

    Public Transport

    Start from Nara Park and make your way to Kintetsu Nara Station. Board the Kintetsu Nara Line for Kyoto. Once at Kyoto Station, take the subway. Board the Karasuma Line towards Kokusaikaikan. At Karasuma Oike Station, transfer to the Tozai Line, heading towards Uzumasa Tenjingawa. Disembark at Kyoto Shiyakusho-mae Station. Exit the station and proceed south along Monzencho Street. After about a 10-minute walk, you will reach Shinsen-en located at 166 Monzencho.
