Public Transportation
If you are starting from Kyoto Station, take the Karasuma Line subway towards Kokusaikaikan. Get off at Karasuma Oike Station (about a 5-minute ride). From Karasuma Oike Station, transfer to the Tozai Line and head towards Uzumasa Tenjingawa. Get off at Nijojo-mae Station (2 stops). Once you exit the station, turn left and walk towards the Nijo Castle. Continue on the same road, and after about a 10-minute walk, you will reach the intersection with Nishinotoin Street. Turn right and walk straight for about 5 minutes until you see Mikane Shrine on your left at 614 Oshinishitoincho.
