Public Transportation
If you are starting from Kyoto Station, take the Karasuma Line subway towards Kokusaikaikan. Get off at Karasuma Oike Station (about a 5-minute ride). From Karasuma Oike Station, transfer to the Tozai Line and head towards Uzumasa Tenjingawa. Get off at Nijojo-mae Station (2 stops). Once you exit the station, turn left and walk towards the Nijo Castle. Continue on the same road, and after about a 10-minute walk, you will reach the intersection with Nishinotoin Street. Turn right and walk straight for about 5 minutes until you see Mikane Shrine on your left at 614 Oshinishitoincho.

Walking
If you are in the central area of Kyoto, you can walk to Mikane Shrine. For example, if you are near the Kyoto Imperial Palace, head south towards Oike Street. Walk along Oike Street heading west for about 20 minutes, passing by the intersection with Karasuma Street. Continue until you reach the intersection with Nishinotoin Street. Turn left on Nishinotoin Street and walk for about 5 minutes until you see Mikane Shrine on your right at 614 Oshinishitoincho.

Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops near Kyoto Station. From Kyoto Station, head north onto Karasuma Street. Continue cycling north until you reach Oike Street. Turn left onto Oike Street and cycle west for about 15 minutes. At the intersection with Nishinotoin Street, turn right and continue cycling for about 5 minutes. Mikane Shrine will be on your left at 614 Oshinishitoincho.
