Getting There

    From Nara Station, take the Kintetsu Nara Line towards Osaka Namba. Get off at Tsuruhashi Station (approximately 30 minutes). Then transfer to the Kintetsu Osaka Line and take the train towards Ikoma. Get off at Shitennoji-mae Yuhigaoka Station (approximately 15 minutes). From the station, walk for about 5 minutes to reach Shitenno-ji Temple.

    From Nara Station, take the Nara Kotsu Bus bound for Osaka (Higashiosaka Line). Get off at the Shitennoji-mae bus stop (approximately 50 minutes). The temple is a short walk from the bus stop, just follow the signs pointing towards Shitenno-ji.

    If you are near Naramachi (the historic area), walk to Naramachi Station and take the Kintetsu Nara Line towards Osaka Namba. Get off at Tsuruhashi Station, and then transfer to the Kintetsu Osaka Line towards Ikoma. Get off at Shitennoji-mae Yuhigaoka Station. From there, it's about a 5-minute walk to Shitenno-ji Temple.
