Getting There

  • Train

    From Nara Station, take the Kintetsu Nara Line towards Osaka Namba Station. Get off at Osaka Namba Station (approximately 45 minutes). Once at Osaka Namba Station, transfer to the Osaka Metro (subway) Midosuji Line and travel towards Esaka. Get off at Umeda Station. From Umeda Station, it's about a 15-minute walk to Taiyū-ji Temple. Head north on Midosuji Boulevard, then turn left onto Taiyujicho Street. Continue until you reach the temple at 3-7 Taiyujicho.

  • Bus

    From Nara Park, walk to the Nara Bus Terminal. Take the Nara Kotsu Bus Line number 2 or 3 towards Osaka. Get off at the Umeda Bus Terminal. From there, it's a short 10-minute walk to Taiyū-ji Temple. Head north on Umeda Sky Building Road, cross the street at the intersection, and continue straight on Taiyujicho Street until you reach the temple.

  • Taxi

    If you prefer a taxi, simply hail one from anywhere in Nara. Provide the driver with the address: 3-7 Taiyujicho, Kita Ward, Osaka, 530-0051. The journey will take approximately 50 minutes, depending on traffic.
