Getting There

  • Subway

    If you're in Umeda, head to the Umeda Subway Station. From there, take the Midosuji Line (red line) heading towards Nakamozu. Get off at the next stop, which is Namba Station. Transfer to the Yotsubashi Line (blue line) at Namba and take it towards Ikoma. Get off at the next stop, which is Osaka Station. From Osaka Station, follow the signs to the Sky Building.

    From Osaka Station, exit the station and head towards the north exit. Walk straight for about 10 minutes until you reach the Umeda Sky Building, which is hard to miss with its unique architecture. The entrance to the 空中庭園 (Kuchu Teien) is located on the 35th floor of the building. There is a ticket fee of 1,500 yen for adults to access the garden.

    Alternatively, you can take a bus from Umeda. Look for the bus stop near Umeda Station and take the Bus No. 100 or 101 towards the Osaka Sky Building. The bus ride will take about 5-10 minutes. The fare is approximately 210 yen. Once you get off, it will just be a short walk to the entrance of the 空中庭園.
