Train
From Nara Station, take the JR Nara Line to Kyoto Station. This journey takes about 45 minutes. Upon arrival at Kyoto Station, transfer to the JR Tōzai Line and head towards Umekoji-Kyotonishi Station. Get off at Fushimi Inari Station (approximately 10 minutes). From Fushimi Inari Station, you can either walk or take a short taxi ride to Teradaya Inn.
Bus
From Nara, head to Nara Bus Terminal and take the Kintetsu Bus bound for Kyoto Station. Once you arrive at Kyoto Station, transfer to a bus heading to Fushimi Ward. You can take bus number 202 or 205. Get off at the 'Fushimi Momoyama' bus stop, and from there, it is a 10-minute walk to Teradaya Inn.
Taxi
If you prefer a more direct option, you can take a taxi from anywhere in Nara directly to Teradaya Inn in Kyoto. The journey will take around 45 minutes, depending on traffic. Ensure the driver knows the address: 263 Minamihamacho, Fushimi Ward, Kyoto, 612-8045.
Walking
If you are staying in a nearby area, you can take a pleasant walk to Teradaya Inn. Start from Fushimi Inari Shrine, which is nearby. From the shrine, head northwest, following the signs for Minamihamacho. Continue straight for about 15 minutes until you reach Teradaya Inn at 263 Minamihamacho.
