Train
From Nara Station, take the Kintetsu Nara Line towards Yoshino. The ride will take approximately 45 minutes. Disembark at Yoshino Station. Once you arrive at Yoshino Station, head out of the station and follow the signs for the Yoshinoyama area. You will need to take the Yoshino Cable Car from the base station to the top. The cable car runs frequently and will take you to the Yoshinoyama Station, which is very close to Yoshimizu Shrine.

From Nara, you can also take a bus from Nara Bus Terminal to Yoshino. Look for the bus heading to Yoshino or Yoshinoyama. The bus ride takes about 1 hour and drops you off near the Yoshino area. After getting off the bus, walk towards the Yoshinoyama area, where you can follow the signs leading to Yoshimizu Shrine.

If you are in Yoshino town, you can reach Yoshimizu Shrine by walking. From Yoshino Station, take the main road towards the Yoshinoyama area. Follow the path that leads uphill; it will take approximately 20-30 minutes on foot. The shrine is well signposted, so simply follow the signs for Yoshimizu Shrine as you make your way up.
