Public Bus
From Nara Station, take the Kintetsu Nara Line to Heguri Station. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Heguri Station, exit the station and look for the bus stop for the Shigisan bus (Shigisan Kanko). Board the bus, which will take you directly to Gyokuzoin. The bus ride will take about 15 minutes. Get off at the Gyokuzoin stop, which is just a short walk from the temple entrance.
Walking from Heguri Station
If you prefer to walk from Heguri Station, exit the station and turn right onto the main road. Follow the road straight for about 1.5 kilometers. You will pass by some local shops and residential areas. Continue until you see signs for Gyokuzoin. It will be on your left, and the walk should take around 20-25 minutes.
Taxi
From Nara Station, you can also take a taxi directly to Gyokuzoin. Just inform the driver of your destination, which is 2280 Shigisan, Heguri, Ikoma District, Nara. The taxi ride will take approximately 20 minutes, depending on traffic.
