Getting There

Walking
From Nara Park, walk towards the Nara Station. Once you reach the station, exit and head towards the bus terminal. Take the bus bound for Kyoto (Kintetsu Line or JR Line) and get off at Kyoto Station. At Kyoto Station, transfer to the subway or bus services that head towards the Higashiyama area. Follow the signs to Sanjo Ohashi, which is approximately a 10-minute walk from the nearest subway station.

Take the Kintetsu Nara Line from Kintetsu Nara Station to Kyoto Station. Once you arrive at Kyoto Station, exit and find the subway entrance. Take the Karasuma Line towards Kokusaikaikan and get off at Karasuma Oike Station. Transfer to the Tozai Line and ride until you reach Sanjo Station. From Sanjo Station, it is a short 5-minute walk to Sanjo Ohashi.
