Car
If you are driving, start from the center of Nikko. Head southeast on Route 119. After about 10 minutes, turn left onto Route 461. Follow the signs to Daiyagawa River, which will lead you into Ietomicho. Dainichi Chaya is located within the grounds of Kanmanji Temple at 2220 Ietomicho. Look for the signs as you approach the temple, and there is parking available nearby.
Public Transportation
From Nikko Station, take the Tobu Nikko Line train towards Shimo-Imaichi. Get off at the next stop, Ietomi Station, which takes about 6 minutes. From Ietomi Station, exit and head south on Route 461. After approximately a 10-minute walk, you will reach Kanmanji Temple. Dainichi Chaya is located within the temple grounds at 2220 Ietomicho. Follow the signs for the café once you enter the temple area.
