Car
From Nikko city center, head south on Route 119. After about 15 minutes, you will reach the entrance of Nikko National Park. Continue straight until you see signs for Kosagoe. Turn left and follow the signs towards Furukama Falls. The falls are located about 10 minutes from the park entrance. There is parking available nearby, but it can fill up quickly during peak tourist seasons. Be prepared to pay a small fee for parking, typically around 500 yen.
Public Transportation
From Nikko Station, take the bus towards 'Irohazaka' and get off at 'Kosagoe' bus stop, which takes about 30 minutes. The bus fare is around 500 yen. Once you get off at Kosagoe, follow the signs directing you towards Furukama Falls; it is a short 10-minute walk from the bus stop. The path is well-marked, but make sure to wear comfortable shoes as it can be a bit uneven.
