From central Nikko, head south on Route 119 towards the Kirifuri Plateau. Continue on Route 119 for approximately 10 kilometers until you reach the area of Tokorono. Look for signs directing you to Kirifuri Plateau. There is a parking area available at the plateau, which is free of charge.
Public Transportation
Start by taking a local bus from Nikko Station to 'Kirifuri Kogen' - the bus ride will take about 30 minutes. Make sure to check the bus schedule in advance as the frequency may vary.
