Getting There

  • Car

    If you are traveling by car, start from Nikko Station and head south on Route 119. After approximately 20 minutes, you will reach the entrance to Nikko National Park located in Yumoto, Nikko, Tochigi 321-1662. Be aware that parking may incur a fee, typically around 500 to 1000 yen depending on the lot.

  • Bus

    For public transportation, take the Tobu Bus from Nikko Station bound for Yumoto Onsen. The bus ride takes about 40 minutes and costs approximately 1,200 yen one way. Disembark at the Yumoto Onsen bus stop, which is located near the entrance of Nikko National Park. From the bus stop, follow the signs to the park entrance.

    If you are already in Yumoto, you can walk to the park entrance. From the Yumoto Onsen area, head towards the river and follow the path leading into the forest.
