Car
If you are driving, set your GPS to '2300 Sannai, Nikko, Tochigi 321-1431'. From the center of Nikko, head east on Route 119. Follow the signs for Nikko National Park. After approximately 5 minutes, you will reach the entrance of the Nitenmon Gate, which is part of the Toshogu Shrine complex. There is parking available nearby.
Public Transportation
To reach Nitenmon Gate via public transport, first find the Nikko Station. From there, take the bus marked 'Toshogu' or 'Shinkyo' (approximately 10 minutes ride). The bus will take you directly to the Toshogu Shrine stop. Once you get off, walk towards the entrance of the Toshogu Shrine complex, and you will see the Nitenmon Gate shortly after.
