If you are driving, start from central Nikko and head towards the Nikko National Park area. Take Route 120 towards Chuzenji Lake. Continue on Route 120 for about 15 kilometers until you reach the Tokorono area. Look for signs for Tamasudare Falls, which is located near the Tokorono area. You can park at designated parking areas nearby, which may charge a small fee (around 500 yen) for parking.

Public Transportation
To reach Tamasudare Falls using public transportation, take the Tobu Nikko Line from Nikko Station to Shimo-Imaichi Station. Then transfer to a local bus headed towards Chuzenji Onsen. Get off at the Tokorono bus stop. From the bus stop, it is approximately a 20-minute walk to Tamasudare Falls. Follow the signs along the path which will lead you to the falls. The bus fare is around 600 yen, and make sure to check the bus schedule as it may not run frequently.
