Getting there

Car

If you are driving, start from the center of Nikko. Head south on Route 120 (Nikko-Kinugawa Onsen Road). Continue along this road for about 15 minutes until you reach the sign for Yumoto Onsen. Turn left onto the road leading to Yumoto. Follow this road for another 10 minutes until you see signs for Yudaki Cascades. There is parking available near the entrance of the scenic spot.

Bus

To reach Yudaki Cascades by public transportation, take the Tobu Bus from Nikko Station or from the Nikko East Exit. Look for the bus heading towards Yumoto Onsen. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the 'Yudaki Falls' bus stop. From there, it’s a short walk (about 5 minutes) to the cascades, following the signs along the path.

Taxi

If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from anywhere in Nikko. Simply tell the driver you want to go to 'Yudaki Cascades' in Yumoto. The drive will take around 20 minutes, depending on traffic conditions. This is a convenient option if you are traveling with a group or have limited time.
