From Oki, take a ferry to Shimonoseki. The ferry ride takes approximately 2 hours. Upon arrival at Shimonoseki, head to the Shimonoseki Station. You can find the ferry schedules and ticket prices at their respective terminals. After reaching Shimonoseki Station, take the JR San'yō Main Line towards Hakata. After approximately 2 hours, transfer at Hakata Station to the JR Tōkaidō Shinkansen line towards Tokyo. The Shinkansen journey will take around 5 hours. Once you arrive at Tokyo Station, transfer to the Tokyo Metro Hanzōmon Line and travel towards Oshiage Station. The total travel time, including transfers, is approximately 9 hours. Ensure to check both ferry and train schedules in advance to align your connections.

If you are driving from Oki, you will first need to take a ferry to the mainland. The ferry from Oki to Shimonoseki costs around ¥6,000 per vehicle and takes approximately 2 hours. Once you arrive in Shimonoseki, drive to the highway and follow the signs for the Kanmon Bridge heading towards Fukuoka. After crossing the bridge, take the Sanyo Expressway heading east towards Osaka and then follow the signs to Tokyo. The total driving distance is around 900 kilometers, and the journey can take about 12 hours without significant stops. Be mindful of tolls along the expressways, which can add up.
