Ferry
To reach Kuroshima Island, first make your way to the Tokashiki Ferry Terminal. If you are in Naha, you can take a bus (number 120) from Naha Bus Terminal to Tomari Port, which takes about 15 minutes. From Tomari Port, catch the ferry to Tokashiki Island. The ferry ride typically takes around 35-40 minutes. Once you arrive at Tokashiki Island, transfer to a local boat service that operates between Tokashiki Island and Kuroshima Island. Make sure to check the local ferry schedules in advance as they can vary.
Bus
If you are starting your journey from the Naha area, take bus number 120 or 99 from the Naha Bus Terminal to Tomari Port. This bus trip will take approximately 15 minutes. Once you arrive at Tomari Port, catch the ferry to Tokashiki Island. From Tokashiki, look for local boats that transport passengers to Kuroshima Island. The entire journey may take about 1.5 to 2 hours depending on ferry schedules and connections.
Taxi
If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from your location in Okinawa to the Tokashiki Ferry Terminal. This will be the fastest option, but it may be more expensive. Once you arrive at the ferry terminal, purchase your ticket for the ferry to Tokashiki Island and then switch to a local boat service to Kuroshima Island upon arrival.
