    If you are in Naha, take the Yui Rail to Asahibashi Station. From there, walk to the Naha Bus Terminal. Board the bus bound for Ishigaki (approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes). Once you arrive at Ishigaki Bus Terminal, you can transfer to a local bus. Take the bus that heads to Misakicho. After about 15 minutes, get off at the Misakicho stop. From there, the Yoko Gushiken Monument is just a short 5-minute walk.

    From Naha, you can also take a ferry to Ishigaki Island. Ferries depart from Naha Port and take about 2 hours. Upon arrival at Ishigaki Port, take a taxi or local bus to Misakicho. The monument is located at 1 Misakicho, which should be about a 10-minute ride from the port.
