Getting There

    If you are driving, start by heading south on Route 39 from Ishigaki City. Continue straight for about 15 minutes until you reach Route 112. Turn left onto Route 112 and follow it for approximately 10 minutes. You will see signs for Gongendo Shrine as you approach. Turn right onto the small road leading to the shrine. There is parking available on site, and it is free.

    To reach Gongendo Shrine via public transportation, take a bus from Ishigaki City to the 'Gongendo' stop. Buses are available regularly, and the fare is around 500 yen. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you get off at the Gongendo stop, walk about 200 meters towards the shrine, following the signs. The shrine is located at 285 Ishigaki, Okinawa 907-0023.
