Getting There

  • Walking

    From the Ishigaki Bus Terminal, the Ishigaki Terminal is just a short walk away. Head east towards the coast, and you'll find the ferry terminal within a minute. There are many signs to guide you.

  • Public Transport

    If arriving at Ishigaki Airport (ISG), take either the Azuma Bus or Karry Kanko bus to the Bus Terminal in Ishigaki City. From there, the Ishigaki Ferry Terminal is a short walk. The bus fare is approximately ¥550, and the journey takes around 30-40 minutes. Alternatively, take a bus bound for Kabira Bay from the Bus Terminal. The bus ride to Kabira Bay takes approximately 1 hour and 5 minutes and costs ¥850-¥1000.

  • Taxi

    Taxis are readily available from Ishigaki Airport to the Ishigaki Ferry Terminal. The taxi ride takes approximately 25 minutes and costs around ¥3,500. If you are elsewhere in Ishigaki City, taxis can be flagged down or called from your hotel. Fares start at ¥390 per kilometer.
