Car
If you are traveling by car, start from central Omi and head northeast on Route 8. Continue on Route 8 for approximately 10 kilometers until you reach the Ikedera area of Kora. Look for the signs directing you to Saimyoji. Upon entering Ikedera, turn left onto Ikedera Road and follow it for about 2 kilometers. Saimyoji will be on your right at the address 26 Ikedera, Kora, Inukami District, Shiga 522-0254. Parking is available onsite.
Public Transportation
To reach Saimyoji using public transport, take the train from Omi City Station to Kora Station. The train journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Kora Station, exit the station and take a local bus heading towards Ikedera. The bus ride will take about 15 minutes. Get off at the Ikedera stop, then walk approximately 1 kilometer along Ikedera Road to reach Saimyoji, located at 26 Ikedera, Kora, Inukami District, Shiga 522-0254. Please note that bus fares typically cost around 200-300 yen.
