Car
If you're traveling by car, head towards the Yumemigaoka Observation Deck located at 776 Yamanakacho, Otsu, Shiga 520-0017. From central Omi, take Route 1 (National Route 1) heading north towards Otsu. After approximately 15 km, take the exit for Route 367. Follow Route 367 for about 5 km, and then look for signs directing you to Yumemigaoka. There is parking available on-site, which is typically free.
Public Transportation
To reach the Yumemigaoka Observation Deck using public transportation, start at Omi Station. Take a train on the JR Kosei Line heading towards Otsu. Get off at Otsu Station (approximately 15 minutes). From Otsu Station, transfer to Bus No. 15 (Yamashiro Line) and get off at Yumemigaoka bus stop. The bus ride will take about 30 minutes. Note that the bus fare is around 500 yen. After disembarking, follow the signs for a short 10-minute walk to the observation deck.
