The Takenaka Carpentry Tools Museum is a short walk from Shin-Kobe Station, which is served by the Sanyo Shinkansen Line and the Kobe Municipal Subway. From the central ticket gate of the Shinkansen or North Exit 1 or 2 of the subway, it's about a 3-minute walk. Alternatively, take the City Loop bus to the "12 Shinkobe Ekimae (1F)" stop, also a 3-minute walk away. A one-day bus ticket is available for purchase that allows unlimited use of the City Loop, Port Loop, and Shinki Bus route buses. From Sannomiya Station, take the Kobe Municipal Subway one station to Shin-Kobe Station.
